How We Keep Your Project Moving

From pre-install prep to delivery, our process is designed to save time, reduce errors, and keep your schedule on track. We coordinate hardware, frames, and doors in-house to ensure everything arrives ready to install.

With fewer delays, cleaner job sites, and faster installs, Beacon helps your team stay focused and your projects finish stronger.

  1. Hardware and doors are checked in for accuracy
  2. Doors are sent down our pre-install line where accessories are installed first on the door such as hinges and kickplates.
  3. Locks and closers are then installed. We also test electronic hardware to make sure it operates properly.
  4. Locks and closers are then installed. We also test electronic hardware to make sure it operates properly.
  5. Once the doors are on the job site, they can be quickly swung in the frame and final attachments and adjustments can be made for a fast, efficient installation

Beacon CDL is innovating the way that doors and hardware are installed. Our installers can pre-install the hardware on the doors in our shop before anything is ever delivered to the job site, reducing clutter and storage space necessary on-site.

Once they are delivered to the project, the “pre-installed” doors simply have to be swung in the opening. A few minor adjustments may be needed and then the opening is completed. Time spent at each opening is greatly reduced. What used to take several days can now be completed in just hours.

Planning and Coordination

Communication is key to ensure a smooth installation. Ensuring that the openings are free from other trade work will help you meet your schedule and deadlines for functional doors.

Accurate information and approved schedules for material are also necessary to get the job done right the first time.
